FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Try-Out

Description: In FLL, students learn programming, how to design a robot to complete specific tasks and how to solve problems as a team. The project includes a research component and an opportunity to participate in a statewide competition. In order for students to be considered for the team, they must attend both try-out dates.
Try-Out Dates: September 29 & 30 (*FLL is a team and will require many practices that extend into early spring. More information will be provided to team members who wish to compete.)

MINECRAFT METROPOLIS

Description: Using Minecraft as inspiration, students will design and construct their own Minecraft Metropolis. The class will work in conjunction with the Drone classes to create an environment in which the drones may freely move. Their creation will be featured at the GCES STEM Expo in the spring.
